Juan Manuel Navarro
Juan Manuel Navarro is a journalist and author with 30 years of experience in TV, editorial and radio outlets. He’s currently the Los Angeles entertainment correspondent for Televisa network which has over 300 million viewers. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2001, Navarro has collaborated with various outlets such as El Universal and Reforma, LA Times en Español newspapers and magazines such as Quien, CARAS, TV y Novelas, ERES and Tele-Guia, among others. He is also an independent TV producer for the West Coast for the Univision morning show “Despierta America.” He has written three bestselling books about the life of Mexican singers Luis Miguel and Juan Gabriel. His book “Luis Mi Rey” (about Luis Miguel’s early life) was a collaboration with the Spanish writer Javier Leon Herrera. The bestseller was used for the first season of Luis Miguel on Netflix. He has interviewed over 500 celebrities in his career and has attended film festivals including Cannes, Venice, Toronto and Florence.
