Kevin Maher is chief film critic of The London Times. He has been writing about film for 30 years, and for The London Times, where he is also a columnist, since 2002. Before that he was film editor of The Face magazine. He likes motorbikes, cold water swimming, big dogs and the poetry of William Butler Yeats. If pressed he will admit that he struggles with small dogs.
