Lianne van der Hert-Peet is a Dutch TV journalist and head of production at the production company FCCE. Having held a passionate interest in television and film from a young age, she worked in a cinema for many years during her studies. In 2008, she received her Master in Media Studies degree at the University of Amsterdam and has worked in the field ever since. In 2009, she started at FCCE as an editor of film news, before becoming editor-in-chief in 2012. In 2018, she moved up to Head of Production for FCCE’s Amsterdam and Nairobi offices. The weekly entertainment news shows she’s responsible for include Films and Stars, Hollywood Buzz, Action Zone, World of Movies, Your Entertainment Fix, Kids Flix, Making the Movies and Planet Action, plus weekly shows in the Benelux region such as Films & Sterren on RTL and Veronica Film on Veronica in the Netherlands, as well as Fresh Screens on Pickx+ in Belgium. Besides the half hour formats, there’s also a news feed, consisting of 10 items a day for a worldwide audience, covering daily news from film festivals, fashion weeks, music festivals and award shows. Since 2009, she’s reported from many film junkets, producing the interviews for distributors and streamers in the Netherlands, and is a recurring reporter at film festivals in Cannes, Toronto, Venice, Marrakech, Rome, Ghent and The Netherlands.
