Lorenza Negri
Lorenza Negri has been a journalist specialising in film and entertainment for over two decades. Her career includes contributions to the Italian editions of Vanity Fair, Wired, Cosmopolitan, Elle, GQ, Metro, and MyMovies, among others. Her expertise primarily lies in film and television critique, with a particular focus on Asian cinema—encompassing Korean, Japanese, and Southeast Asian productions—as well as British film and television. Her knowledge extends to anime, horror, science fiction, and martial arts films and series. She was the pioneering Italian journalist to write about Korean dramas, thereby helping to introduce and popularise this genre in Italy. Additionally, she co-published a collection of interviews with some of the most prominent creators of television series. In 2006, she authored the first Italian master’s thesis in Cultural Studies dedicated to the subject of Artificial Intelligence.
