Nicole graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Development Communication in 2011. His work in the field of digital marketing led him to opportunities to work on projects such as the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival and the Sinag Maynila Independent Film Festival. Since 2014 he has been an active member of the International Cinephile Society, and has contributed film reviews and criticisms for the organization through ICS's extensive coverage in different film festivals around the world. In the Philippines, he is a member of the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers, a group that champions the most promising works from Filipino filmmakers, actors, and craftsmen: he served as Vice President for the Society's initial year. His writing has also led him to be one of the pool reviewers for Pinoy Exchange, and he has made several television appearances on programs from GMA News TV to CNN Philippines to discuss his passion for film.
