Paola Casella an entertainment journalist and film critic. She has been working for many years for Italy’s number one cinema website, MYmovies, and for the number one Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, mostly contributing to its supplements La Lettura, dedicated to culture, literature, arts and entertainment, and Io Donna, dedicated to women’s issues. She also acts as an expert on Italian television programs and contributes to film criticism publications such as Cinecritica, Cineforum, Bianco e Nero and 8 e mezzo. She has been teaching Cinema history, Film Criticism and Film Industry at Università Cattolica and several other Italian universities. She is Vice President of Fipresci, the International Film Critics’ Association, and has been part of many Fipresci juries at the majaor international film festivals around the world.
