Paola Piacenza is a journalist, researcher and film critic for the weekly magazine of the newspaper "Corriere della Sera", "Io donna", and a film critic for the national radio, Rai3. She has been covering the major film festivals, Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, Zurigo, Marrakech, Macao, for the last 3 decades, interviewing filmmakers and cast members, producing personal profiles, reviews and reports. She writes about major changes in the media environment. She has been the author of documentaries since 2009. Her films have been presented at Venice Days, the collateral section of the Venice Film Festival, IDFA in Amsterdam, Al Jazeera Film festival in Doha and the Turin film festival.
