Since late 2019, Roy Even has been an editor and writer at mako – one of Israel’s leading news and entertainment outlets. He serves as the website’s head TV critic, as well as an associate culture editor, and publishes a weekly column in its weekend magazine.

Alongside his work at mako, Even is a member of the Israeli Academy of Film and Television, the Israeli Film Critics Association and the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
