Born in Angola, Africa, Rui resides in Portugal, Lisbon, where he studied communications but soon pursued his passion: film criticism. Now he has a regular film column in the newspaper Diário de Notícias and serves as film critic for SIC Radical in the tv show “Cinetendinh.” He also has a show on radio, for Futura. He also works as an adviser for Cinema MED and Ymotion.
