A film critic and analyst with a career spanning over 30 years, Saul Arellano Montoro is the film commentator for the Mexican radio news “1ra Emisión MVS 102.5,” both on TV and radio. He is also a frequent contributor for print media, both magazines (Encuadres, El Alebrije) and newspapers (Crónica). He is frequently invited to give conferences, workshops and conversations related to different topics of national and foreign cinema. His line of work focuses passionately on the Mexican golden age of cinema, as well as the period between the ’60s and ’90s. He is also co-founder of the traveling film collective Cine-Cobija Itinerante.
