Sofía Ferrero Cárrega is a film critic from Argentina with a focus on Asian and Latin American cinema. Since 2022, she has been the Artistic Director of the Al Este Perú International Film Festival. Sofía has researched Korean cinema since 2010 and teaches at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, where she lectures on film criticism, Latin American cinema, and Asian cinema and culture.
