I am an Afroamerican-Italian cisgender woman, daughter of an Afroamerican Vietnam war veteran and an Italian foreign languages professor. I have earned a Masters in Corporate Finance at the Università Bocconi in Milan, am bilingual and always 'half way' between my two cultures: European and American. I'm a freelance journalist and author (published a poetry book and essays on literature and cultural websites). I am an editorial contributor for main Italian newspapers, such as Corriere della Sera, Ilsole24ore, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair Italia, Domani quotidiano, among others (Cultured Focus Magazine). Culture (cinema, fashion, art and social issues, especially diversity and environmental consciousness) are my areas of interest and research. I'm a speaker for the Afroitalian community. I held a TedX talk in 2021 on diversity and racism issues in Italy. I follow main film festivals from many points of view. Also, I'm a press and communication specialist consultant for emerging fashion brands and cultural projects.
