Victor Russo is a film critic and cultural journalist, graduated from Mackenzie Presbyterian University. He is the founder of the YouTube channel “16mm,” a platform dedicated to discussing cinema and TV series through reviews, lists, analyses, and broader debates on audiovisual media. Since 2022, he has also been a critic for the website “Filmes e Filmes.” With over eight years of experience in the field, he launched a course in 2024 focused on film review in the age of social media, addressing the various current formats of reviews while also building a theoretical foundation in film history and language. The course aims to inspire and train new critics and further specialize those already working in the area. He is a member of the Brazilian Film Critics Association (Abraccine) and the International Federation of Film Critics (Fipresci).
