Yasmine Evaristo has a degree in plastic arts from Escola Guignard (UEMG), and is a student of languages-technologies of editing from CEFET-MG. She researches and writes about cinema, especially the fantasy and horror genre, and the representation of Black artists in cinema. She has contributed to the following outlets: Clube da Poltrona, Music Non Stop, Entrando numa Fria Blog, Plano Aberto. She is writer and co-founder of the Longa História website and contributor for the Feito Por Elas podcast. She is a member of Abraccine and Coletivo Elviras.
