Oraz Kereibayev is a movie critic writing for several online magazines in Kazakhstan. He completed his MA degree in film theory in Hungary and is now teaching at the American University in Bulgaria. His focus lies in genre theory and national cinema. He currently works on gathering information on contemporary cinemas of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
