With 120+ feature films on the docket, the 2014 Sundance Film Festival is literally overflowing with creativity, talent, and amazing flicks.
Founded by Robert Redford 30 years ago, the much-beloved event includes at least a few must-see projects from some of our favorite artists. Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler has joined forces with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues hunk Paul Rudd for They Came Together, about a corporate executive who has to close down a small retail store and ends up falling for the female manager.
Director Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused) is back with another much-hyped movie called Boyhood, that was shot from 2002 to 2013 in small segments and stars Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette.
And of course, what film festival would be complete without a visit from Philip Seymour Hoffman? The Capote actor stars in both A Most Wanted Man, based on John Le Carre’s psychological thriller novel, and God’s Pocket, also starring Christina Hendricks and directed by John Slattery.
John Lithgow and Alfred Molina play a longtime gay couple whose recent marriage has caused all kinds of vocational and domestic problems in Love is Strange, while Zach Braff stars and directs his Kickstarter-funded Wish I Was Here with Kate Hudson, Ashley Greene and Josh Gad.
Finally, unlikely costars Billy Crudup and Selena Gomez both give it their all in Rudderless, a film about a grieving father who forms a rock band to mourn the loss of his son. [gallery:3328]
