Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is the new number 1 at the French box office. Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, the movie is about Puss in Boots, who discovers that his passion for adventure has burned through eight of his nine lives. The movie grossed $3,387,317.      

Moonbound premiered in 2nd place. Directed by Ali Samadi Ahadi, the movie is about a young boy who embarks on an intergalactic mission to save his little sister from the clutches of a vengeful man on the moon. The movie grossed $944,512.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever lost two spots and is now in 3rd place. Directed by Ryan Coogler with Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, and Danai Gurira, the movie is about the people of Wakanda fighting to protect their home from intervening world powers as they mourn the death of King T’Challa. The movie grossed $909,816 reaching already a total of $23,813,341.     

Maestro(s) premiered in 4th place. Directed by Bruno Chiche with Yvan Attal, Pierre Arditi, and Miou-Miou, the movie is about the relationship between a father and a son who are music conductors. The movie grossed $655,502.

Le torrent lost two spots and is now in 5th place. Directed by Anne Le Ny with José Garcia, André Dussollier, and Capucine Valmary, the movie is about a man who discovers that his young wife is cheating on him. After a violent argument breaks out, she flees into the night and falls to her death. The husband, who fears being accused, persuades his daughter to cover him. The movie grossed $469,040 for a total of $1,624,211.

Simone Veil, a Woman of the Century lost two spots and is now in 6th place. Directed by Olivier Dahan with Elsa Zylberstein, Rebecca Marder, and Élodie Bouchez, the movie is about the life of the most famous politician woman in France: Simon Veil. The epic shows her terrible childhood, tragedies, and political struggles. The movie grossed $441,421reaching a total of $16,586,380.

Broker premiered in 7th place. Directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda with Song Kang-Ho, Dong-won Gang, and Doona Bae, the movie is about a young woman who abandons her baby. He is illegally picked up by two men, determined to find him a new family. The movie grossed $387,806

From 2nd, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile went down to 8th place. Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck with Javier Bardem, Winslow Fegley, and the voice of Shawn Mendes, the movie is based on the children’s book about a crocodile that lives in New York City. The movie grossed $380,113 for a total of $1,374,009.    

Violent Night lost four sports and is now number 9. Directed by Tommy Wirkola with David Harbour, John Leguizamo, and Alex Hassell, the movie is about a group of mercenaries attacking the estate of a wealthy family before Santa Claus must step in to save the day. The movie grossed $347,526 reaching a total of $1,011,967.

From 7th, Reste un peu is now in 10th place. Directed by Gad Elmaleh with Gad Elmaleh, Régine Elmaleh, and David Elmaleh, the movie is about the real story of the comedian Gad Elmaleh who decided to convert to Catholicism. His family is determined to bring him back to his Jewishness. The movie grossed $287,824 for a total of $2,894,118.
