Gladiator II

Paramount’s Gladiator II is a sequel to the 2000 blockbuster, with both directed by Ridley Scott. After his home is conquered by the tyrannical emperors who now lead Rome, Lucius (Paul Mescal) is forced to enter the Colosseum and must look to his past to find strength to return the glory of Rome to its people. Also starring Denzel Washington, whose supporting-actor turn was one of the film’s two Golden Globe nominations.
