Looking Back at The Good Wife with Julianna Margulies

And so, after seven seasons, universal praise and a myriad of awards – including 12 Golden Globe nominations and one win, for Julianna Margulies, best actress/TV series/drama in 2010-The Good Wife comes to an end this Sunday. Sprung from the minds of writers/producers Robert King and Michelle King, The Good Wife took its cue from the series of sexual scandals that rocked the US political scene in late 00s – the very public shaming of congressman Anthony Weiner, New York state governor Eliot Spitzer and ex-California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger – and ran fast and loose with it.

La animación española se coloca a la cabeza del Festival de Stuttgart

Dos producciones españolas, el largometraje Psiconautas, los niños olvidados de Pedro Rivero y Alberto Vázquez, y el cortometraje Alike, de Daniel Martínez Lara y Rafa Cano Méndez, consiguieron sendos premios en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Animación de Stuttgart (Alemania). El primero consiguió el premio al mejor largometraje, el llamado Tricksy con la forma de un caballito juguetón, mientras que el segundo obtuvo el premio Tricks for Kids, escogido por y para niños al mejor cortometraje.

David Hasselhoff: Baywatch and Beyond

The upcoming Baywatch movie, starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zack Efron, currently shooting on Tybee Island, Savannah, Georgia, where the HFPA recently interviewed the cast, is a reboot of the former TV series made famous by David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. David Hasselhoff, 63, primarily known for his leading roles in the TV series Knight Rider (from 1975 to 1982) and Baywatch (from 1990 to 2001), has also joined the ranks of the headliner of such shows as The Simple Life, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, Keeping up with the Kardashians and, of course, I Am Cait.
