Exactly 70 years after the U. S.

On the morning of August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb was dropped over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Three days later, on August 9, another atomic bomb was dropped over Nagasaki.

As ITV’s Mr. Selfridge shoots its fourth season it can be somewhat difficult for us, in the audience, to imagine Harry Selfridge as anyone but the buoyant, assertive personality that Jeremy Piven lends to him.

Salma Hayek not only produced the animated film, Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet – which incorporates Gibran’s poetry and opens August 7 – but she also lends her voice to the main character, Kamila. When talking to us Salma looked cool in a white pants suit by Elie Saab and Gucci shoes.
