Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Close is the second film by the Belgian film director and screenwriter Lukas Dhont. The story of two thirteen-year-old best friends, whose seemingly unbreakable bond is suddenly, tragically torn apart, is written by Dhont and Angelo Tijssens.

There is definitely a departure from the book, and the biggest change is the reason Tully and Kate have their falling out.

Il Boemo tells the life story of an 18th century composer who traveled from Prague to Venice, Italy in 1763 at the age of 25 to pursue his dream of creating music and succeeded. Escobar, in our interview via email, said that the absence of an “action star grandma” in Philippine cinema propelled her to write Leonor Will Never Die.
