Danny Elfman

Danny Elfman (born May 29, 1953 in Los Angeles) in the 1970s was part of the experimental pop-rock group Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, which eventually became Oingo Boingo.  His inaugural film score was Pee-wee’s Big Adventure in 1985, the first of his many collaborations with director Tim Burton. Their films together also include Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Frankenweenie (2012) and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). He has also frequently collaborated with Sam Raimi, David O. Russell and Gus Van Sant.
