Now the Brooklyn native has added his first Golden Globe nomination to the list of his accomplishments: Best Actor in a Drama for his stirring role as Jared Eamons in Boy Erased, a powerful story on the son of a Baptist minister who is forced to participate in a church-supported gay conversion therapy program.

It's her sixth GG nomination: she won in 2007 as Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television with Gideon's Daughter.

Carol Burnett to Receive HFPA’s First Award for Achievement in TV

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced today that legendary TV icon Carol Burnett will receive the first-ever Golden Globe television special achievement award, aptly named the Carol Burnett Award, honoring the highest level of achievement in the medium. A five-time Golden Globe winner and the most decorated of all time in the television category, Burnett will accept the honor at the awards ceremony that will air live coast to coast on Sunday, Jan.
