Dear Comrades! is based on a true story that took place in June of 1962 in Novocherkassk. The rebellious workers from the small industrial town of Novocherkassk went on strike after the communist government raised food prices.

Vlado Mladinic is a divorced father who tries to see his nine-year-old daughter on her birthday. Because his ex-wife will not permit this, he forces his way into her classroom – with a hunting rifle and a birthday cake.

In the drama I’m No Longer Here (Ya no estoy aqui), writer and director Fernando Frias delves into the complex arena of human identity and how our cultural surroundings can shape who we can become. Our protagonist is 17-year-old Ulises (Juan Daniel Garcia Treviño) and his journey in the film begins as he crosses the Mexican/U.

A funny and quick-paced sex comedy (79 minutes) about modern love the way it might happen to bored couples in Valencia, where the film was shot. The film is directed by Juanjo Moscardó and Suso Imbernón, based on a screenplay by María Mínguez, María Laura Gargarella and Moscardó himself.

Much like the mystical island the film shares its name with Atlantis is a feat of cinema that is hard to come by. The story takes place in 2025, one year after the end of the devastating war in eastern Ukraine.
