Creator Ryan Murphy turns his lens on the golden years of post-World War II Hollywood for his lush new Netflix series, Hollywood. The series combines familiar names like Rock Hudson with Ryan's own vision of an alternate Hollywood history as he centers his story on a group aspiring actors and filmmakers who challenge the then studio system of exclusion and prejudice.

JanLuis Castellanos is set to star as a series regular opposite Dylan Minnette in the upcoming fourth and final season of Netflix’s YA drama 13 Reasons Why. The second season of My Brilliant Friend – The Story of a New Name is out on HBO. The series, created by director Saverio Costanzo (Private, The Solitude of Prime Numbers), is based on the best-selling trilogy series, written under the moniker of Elena Ferrante.

Rufus Sewell stars in Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse currently screening on Amazon Prime, where he plays an antique dealer who apparently ‘has it all. ’ When he discovers that the women he sleeps with have a habit of dying under mysterious circumstances, his life is turned upside down.

Showrunner and writer Liz Tigelaar finished shooting the last scenes of Little Fires Everywhere just minutes before Los Angeles’ Mayor Eric Garcetti announced the lockdown of the city in connection with the Covid-19 emergency. The series adapted from the eponymous novel by Celeste Ng was a passion project that she was relieved to see completed and ready to be streamed on Hulu in March 2020.

Glynn Turman (The Wire, House of Lies, Queen Sugar) was working on the highly anticipated new season of FX’s Fargo, opposite Chris Rock, when the filming was indefinitely suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak. He went back to his ranch outside of Los Angeles in Lake Hughes where he is now spending time with his family.

Renée Zellweger takes on the iconic role of singer/actress Judy Garland in Judy directed by Rupert Gold.  Set 30 years after starring in The Wizard of Oz, when the spotlight of her stardom has dimmed, she arrives in London as a last-ditch attempt to revive her career and finances to perform sold-out shows at the Talk of the Town nightclub, where her troubled past (shown in flashbacks to her childhood spent in the MGM studio system) takes its toll emotionally and the fragile singer struggles to be back in front of an audience.
