Families that dress up together, stay together. Or in San Diego’s Comic-Con, they have fun together! Yes, the creative pastime known as Cosplay that reaches fever-pitch at Comic-Con is definitely a family-friendly activity.

About 6000 hardcore fans could be forgiven for thinking they died and gone to Star Wars heaven as they witnessed a Comic-Con extravaganza orchestrated by J. J.

Among the most sought after tickets at this Comic-Con were those to the exclusive screening of the pilot for Fear The Walking Dead. And they were some of the most elusive too: Less than 200 lucky guests joined cast and show principals at a Gas lamp theater for a preview of AMC’s companion piece to its smash hit The Walking Dead.

Starz threw a party in honor of its time-bending drama Outlander as part of its Comic Con slate. At the Starz bash, Caitriona Balfe, Outlander’s Claire Beauchamp, was stunning in a Vintage dress, despite having arrived a few hours earlier from the UK and driven directly to San Diego for this year’s Comic-Con.

Tatiana Maslany is at her third Comic-Con and she’s having a grand time. Orphan Black, the groundbreaking, Golden Globe-nominated cloning sci-fi thriller in which she single-handedly plays like, 70% of the cast, was a little known show when she first came to San Diego three years ago.

That giant sucking sound around Comic-Con was The Force that swept over the Convention Center on Day Two. Yes the Star Wars panel was pretty much all everyone was talking about in San Diego today.

In November of 2015, the saga of Katniss Everdeen will come to its final four-picture conclusion with the release of Mockingjay Part 2. Fans of the young adult franchise might be both anxious and misty-eyed knowing the end is in sight for the Hunger Games.

It's sometimes called a Woodstock for Nerds – or is it Cannes for Geeks? Whatever you may think of it, Comic-Con has become a staple of genre entertainment. Fantasy, horror and sci-fi rule the Convention Center and all of downtown San Diego for that matter as thousands of fans give free rein to their passion with costumes, which in themselves are wonders of creativity.
