Fashion: Red Carpet Styles

Zazie Beetz, Brad Pitt, Joey King

Stars turned heads in styles that made you stare. In a good way.

Men’s fashion: Brad Pitt (c) embraced a kilt for the Bullet Train at the Berlin red carpet screening  – wish more men would try this Scottish tradition. The ever wonderful Zazie Beetz (l) shimmered in the sunshine in a blue sequined, figure-hugging dress with pink shoes. Joey King continues her early promise of being a fashion aficionada and brought classic elegance. (Scroll through to see full-length photo).

Brian Tyree Henry

Brian Tyree Henry has a fashion gene – if you doubt me, check out every red carpet he has ever been on. He is known for Atlanta, but quietly slips into character roles in The Eternals, is hilarious in Bullet Train, and is our voice of reason in Atlanta S3. He embraces color. Note the bright contrasting open shirt beneath the suit, the lightly padded shoulders, the textured shirt almost like an under-jacket, with the exposed chest hung with delicate jewelry.

Michelle RodriguezJoey King, fashion, style

Women are in the sweet spot with style. Personal comfort and choice dictate the look. Here Michelle Rodriguez (l) goes for easy comfort – statement tee, the pairing of like-toned framing color, and sneakers.

Joey King is a vision in black. The wide-legged trouser with black polo – straight for the ‘forever’ wardrobe. The hair is so current. The combo – so right.

 Lucy Liu

Lucy Liu is the perfect example of letting the outfit dictate the mood. She can be edgy, classic, or simply pretty. Here she chooses the latter, in summer bright.

We are in the ease of summer – what are you choosing to wear at your next big event?
