Fashion: Bold Style & Brights on the Red Carpet – Queen Latifah, Janelle Monáe and Eddie Redmayne

Bold style set the red carpet tone for fashion this week. Red, marigold and sumptuous texture announced that fall was truly here.

Queen Latifah

Above: Queen Latifah ruled the red carpet in a marigold gown with cream trim and appliqué flowers on the bodice. The high collared gown that mimicked a coat looked like it had stepped straight off the Paris Fashion week catwalk.  The star wore her hair pulled back and pulled on gloves in a matching hue at The Grio Awards in Los Angeles.

Below: Janelle Monáe went with black leather-like ensemble including a hat at the 2022 Outfest Legacy Awards Gala.

Madalina Diana Ghenea, always elegant and sensual, graced the red carpet for Era ora during the 17th Rome Film Festival. The Roberto Cavalli gown both revealed and concealed.

Below: Aubrey Plaza also at the Season 2 Premiere of HBO Original Series The White Lotus echoed the reveal and conceal we saw on the Roman red carpet – a trend as designers find new ways to showcase the torso.

Meanwhile at the Call Jane premiere, Wunmi Mosaku (above) and Sigourney Weaver (below went with bold colors too. Wunmi Mosaku in scarlet while Sigourney Weaver stuck with the trouser suit she prefers in a rich green satin.
