With the worldwide box office success of Kingsman: The Secret Service in 2014, expectations have been high for director Matthew Vaughn’s sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. This time he has suited the British spies with an American counterpart The Statesmen, a band of gun-toting, Stetson-wearing cowboys expanding the cast to include Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum and Halle Berry. The HFPA’s Katherine Tulich spoke to Vaughn and the cast including returning stars Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Julianne Moore the films villain, Poppy Adams in London to see how the sequel matches up.
