In an almost 30-year career Patricia Arquette has demonstrated the rare ability to straddle film and television, Indie cinema and network series, all the while garnering widespread acclaim and a well-deserved Globe (as well as a SAG Award, and Independent Spirit Award and an Academy Award) for last year’s star turn in Richard Linklater’s Boyhood. She was also nominated for Golden Globes three years running (2006-08) for her role in Medium. In her new television venture she headlines the latest iteration of the wildly popular CSI franchise, CSI: Cyber in which she plays Avery Ryan a special agent in charge of the FBI’s unit cyber-crime unit. She recently talked to the HFPA’s Scott Orlin.
