Luis Ragua
A program advisor at Cinemateca de Bogotá, he is also programmer of the International Film Program at Lichter Filmfest Frankfurt International, Germany. He was formerly program coordinator at the Bogotá International Film Festival and the Spanish Film Showcase in Colombia, and curator of “Beyond Labour: Iberoamerican Film Series on Workers’ Cinema” at Cinemateca de Bogotá (2020), a project that won the Audiovisual Curation Grant at Idartes. Curator of “The End of Family”, an independent short film program on queer Latin American cinema, “Work + Work = Work” at LIMA, the institute for media art in Amsterdam, and “Playing Film” at the Eye Filmmuseu, Amsterdam. He is a winner of the Research and Writing for a Documentary Grant at Idartes, and the Sony Scholarship granted by AMIA – Association of Moving Image Archivists in the US. Member and film critic for the International Cinephile Society (ICS). Bylines in Photogénie.
