Michele Manelis
Australian-born journalist Michele Manelis grew up in Melbourne where she began her career as a music publicist. She later moved to Sydney for several years before relocating to Los Angeles in 1990 to continue her career in journalism, writing for such outlets as Rolling Stone, Vogue, Elle, GQ, and Marie Claire.
Manelis' interviews have also been published in Australian textbooks for students studying journalism. Manelis was also the US Correspondent for MCM, Australia’s largest radio syndication group where she regularly contributed on-air Hollywood reports as well as conducted interviews each week which were heard across hundreds of radio stations.
She also contributed to a national TV show, Recovery, in which she interviewed music artists from around the world. More recently, her work can be found through the News Corp Australia Network, Mindfood magazine, and the New Zealand Herald.
