Hero Moment-Comic-Con 2016: Lucas Till, 21st Century McGyver

Anybody who grew up at the end of the eighties has fond memories of Richard Dean Anderson, the actor who for 7 seasons,  from 1985 to 1992, portrayed the always resourceful secret agent Angus MacGyver. He was so powerful that the term created by Lee David Zlotoff as the last name of his character became part of the English language, and is still used in may other parts of the world to refer to someone who can to fix something with his bare hands.

Bob Odenkirk, Marcia Gay Harden Win at the 56th Monte-Carlo Television Festival

Despite the rain, the 56th Monte-Carlo Television Festival finished in glitter and glamour with the presence of many celebrities of the small screen such as Golden Globe nominee Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) or Marcia Gay Harden (Black Code) and Golden Globe winner Jeffrey Tambor (Transparent).  For over a half-century the festival has focused exclusively on television, with screenings, panels and q&a sessions, many if them open to the public.

Marlene Forte: Fear The Walking Dead’s Big Surprise

Those who’ve seen the latest episodes of Fear the Walking Dead were surely shocked by the appearance of Celia, the 50-something year old woman who takes Travis (Cliff Curtis), Madison (Kim Dickens), and the entire group of survivors into the luxurious ranch owned by Thomas Abigail (Dougray Scott) in Mexico.   Celia can act as either an adorable mother, a witty business woman, or even a ruthless killer; and although it seems that her role in the series concluded along with the mid-season finale, it is not one that will be easily forgotten.
