Fran Romero
Fran Romero is a sociologist and holds a master’s degree in public affairs, with a specialization in media from UC, Berkeley, and is a candidate for certification in film and TV business. Additionally, she was part of the 2020 Cohort of the Women Leaders program at the same university and taught as a graduate student instructor for “Introduction to Television” and “Media Studies.” For the past four years, she has been involved in the cinematic paratext through Cinéfilos as a film journalist, and today, she is the creator and CEO of Spanglish Cinema, a platform with a vision to bring audiences closer to narratives showcased in festivals worldwide, and to those ultimately awarded as the best each year.
