Before Barbie bathed fashion and style influencers in pink, the Golden Globes foreshadowed the trend with Julia Garner, Elizabeth Debicki, and Barbie herself, Margot Robbie, choosing pale pink for the 2023 Awards Show, continuing the Globes’ reputation as a benchmark for every red carpet that follows.  Barbie, which earned billions and garnered nine nominations at the 2024 Golden Globes, cemented that 2023 was the year where you were perfect in anything pink.

One of the biggest stars will be Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who told a gaggle of media outlets assembled today that he and his team of 25 experienced chefs are excited to  provide dinner to the star power set to dine on their menu.

The Golden Globes this year expanded its voter base, aiming for a slate of nominees that was more global and inclusive. The difference is apparent.

WarnerBrothers’ “Barbie” (with nine bids) and Universal’s “Oppenheimer” (with eight) led film nominations for the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, while TV was paced by HBO’s “Succession” (nine citations), FX’s “The Bear” and Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” with five apiece. Other movies earning multiple noms included Apple’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” and Searchlight’s “Poor Things” (seven apiece) and A24’s “Past Lives,” with five.
